2. Definitions

- Chef: A user of the platform who offers meals.
- Customer: A user of the platform who orders meals.
- Service: The intermediary service provided by Stewday between chefs and customers.
3. Platform Responsibilities
- Stewday solely facilitates communication and transactions between customers and chefs and is not a party to the purchase agreement.
- Stewday is not responsible for the quality, safety, or compliance with legal requirements regarding the meals.
- Stewday has the right to refuse or remove chefs in case of violation of the terms or legislation.
- Stewday may modify or terminate the platform's functionalities without prior notice.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers are responsible for checking whether the offered meals meet their dietary requirements and allergies.
- Customers order and consume meals at their own risk.
- Any disputes regarding payments or meal quality must be resolved directly with the chef.
5. Chef Responsibilities
- Chefs are fully responsible for compliance with local food safety regulations.
- Chefs guarantee that they comply with all laws and regulations regarding food safety and hygiene.
- Chefs may not provide misleading or harmful information about their products.
- Chefs indemnify Stewday from any liability related to their offered meals.
6. Payments and Refunds
- Payments are processed through Stripe, with Stewday having no access to full payment card details.
- Stewday is not responsible for refunds. Any payment disputes must be resolved between the customer and the chef.
- Chefs receive payouts after deduction of transaction costs.
7. Liability
- Stewday is not liable for damage, illness or any other consequences of consuming meals ordered through the platform.
- Stewday reserves the right to refuse or remove chefs from the platform if they do not comply with the terms, violate the law or abuse the service.

- Personal data is processed and stored once a payment is completed.
- Hosting of our platform takes place within the EU on Hetzner servers.
2. Use of Data
- Personal data is used for processing and handling orders.
- Chefs may use this data for marketing purposes, provided it relates to similar products or services, in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Users always have the option to unsubscribe from marketing communications.
3. Security and Retention Period
- Stewday takes appropriate security measures to protect personal data against loss or unlawful processing.
- Data is retained for as long as necessary for the performance of the service or as legally required, including the mandatory retention period of 7 years for accounting data.
4. User Rights
- Users have the right to access, correct or delete their data, unless there is a legal retention obligation.
